Hello, I'm Lauren Deats, the founder and heart behind Career Bloom Solutions. My journey into helping others find their professional path is deeply personal, forged through over a decade of diverse experiences and a profound belief in the power of purpose.

My career in HR began over ten years ago, but life took an unexpected turn when I found myself a single parent in my early twenties, feeling adrift and searching for direction. It was during this time that I landed a job at a mattress store, run by an incredible couple who became my anchors. They offered me not just a job, but a supportive environment that allowed me to balance work with parenting, paying me fairly and showing me a level of empathy I hadn't imagined. They taught me invaluable lessons about sales, human connection, and the profound impact of genuine support—my boss even came to my divorce hearing!

While I enjoyed my time there, a deeper calling to help people ignited within me. This led me to a role with a local workforce program, where I had the privilege of connecting youth facing barriers to employment with volunteer positions. Placing clients in diverse roles—from headstone etching to finance—I witnessed firsthand the transformative power of finding the right career fit. It was here that my passion for career development truly blossomed.

Life continued its adventurous course, including meeting my wonderful husband, Zach, and embracing the military spouse life with multiple cross-country moves and a blended family of five amazing children and three dogs! Each move brought new job searches, honing my skills in navigating the ever-evolving employment landscape.

Then, in September 2024, after settling into our new life in Texas, I received the news no one wants to hear: my HR position was eliminated. Despite my experience, the post-pandemic, spam-filled job market of 2024 was daunting. Yet, amidst my own job hunt, I found myself instinctively helping over 20 other people secure employment. It was a powerful realization: my lifelong passion for helping others, first sparked in that mattress store, was my true calling.

With the unwavering support of my husband (and perhaps a little wine!), Career Bloom Solutions sprouted. January 1st, 2025, marks the day this company, whose seeds I had unknowingly planted throughout my life, finally pushed through the soil and found its sun.

As I often reflect, "Finding your life's purpose is like tending a garden within your soul. Some seeds may lie dormant for years, while others blossom unexpectedly. Nurture your passions, water your dreams, and allow yourself to grow in the direction of the sunlight. Even amidst the thorns, your unique bloom will emerge, adding its own vibrant color to the world."
