This is the one I promised would make me roll my eyes so hard they might get stuck. If you're currently being dragged back to the office, you’re probably blaming "old-school execs," "a lack of trust," or "an outdated corporate culture." And while those factors certainly play a part, the real, actionable reason is much simpler and far more infuriating:
A lot of you self-sabotaged the privilege of working from home and you bragged about it.
My frustration doesn't stem from whether you should be in the office, but from the spectacular lack of foresight and professionalism displayed by those who ruined the remote work experiment for everyone else.
